Korean Sweet Pancakes
Hotteok (호떡) is a popular street food snack in South Korea, which consists of fried dough filled with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts.
Mix ingredients, knead until smooth, cover until doubled in size.
Divide the dough into eight portions and shape into balls equal in size.
Spoon about 2 tbsp of filling into the center and pinch the sides to seal closed.
Heat skillet over medium heat and add 1-2 tbsp of oil, swirling to coat.
Use a Hotteok press to gently press down the dough ball. Be careful not to bust it.
Carefully flip the pancake over and cook the other side until golden brown.
You could also use a spatula, but these are inexpensive on Amazon.
