Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 or 90/10
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 6 oz broccoli
  • Sesame seeds optional

Instructions

  • Cut the broccoli into 2-inch pieces. Set aside.
  • Cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and no longer pink.
  • Drain any excess grease from the pan and discard.
  • Over low heat, add the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to the pan with meat. Mix well to combine.
  • Add the broccoli to the pan and continue tossing for 6-8 minutes, until crisp tender.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds (optional).
